Phillip is a founding member of Liberty and provides invaluable leadership and experience to the business. He has delivered some of the North West’s most high-profile development projects and is passionate about leveraging Liberty’s unique capabilities to help landowners unlock the full potential of their landholdings.
Outside of work, Phillip is a keen sportsman with a particular interest in motor racing, cycling, golf, and tennis. He also enjoys travelling and spending time with his family, exploring both new destinations and familiar favourites.
A founding member of Liberty, Emyr has spent over forty years working with leading operators across the commercial, industrial, retail and more recently, residential care sectors. With a keen eye for opportunity and a strong ability to guide projects through complex political and planning processes, he is closely involved from site acquisition through to promotion, collaborating with key stakeholders and policymakers along the way.
Outside of work, Emyr enjoys travelling with his wife, spending quality time with his three sons, and can often be found cycling or sailing along the North Wales coast.
Mark joined Liberty in 1998 and has since led the successful delivery of a wide range of projects across the residential, retail, care, and industrial sectors. With extensive experience, he brings a strong understanding of what it takes to progress a project from initial concept through to land disposal or procurement, ensuring a smooth transition to site commencement.
Working closely with the wider Liberty Development Team, Mark plays a key role in securing commercially sound planning consents that meet the latest technical standards. His proactive approach ensures that projects are well-positioned for efficient and successful delivery.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys golfing and spending quality time travelling with his family.
Kath originally joined Liberty in 2005 to cover Emma’s six-month maternity leave as a Personal Assistant—and she never left. She now serves as Finance and Admin Manager, dealing with all aspects of the company’s accounting while also overseeing administration, personnel and office operations.
Outside of work, Kath is a true water enthusiast, enjoying sailing, swimming, and diving. She also loves travelling in her camper van and keeps active with several gym sessions each week.
Emma first joined Liberty Properties in 1998 and, after a period away from the business, returned to the team in 2026. During her time outside the company, she developed extensive expertise in office management and organisation, building on her earlier experience as an Executive Assistant. She now brings this valuable skillset back to Liberty, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office and assisting with project administration.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her family, including her grandson Carter, as well as holidays with her husband and Steve the dog. A dedicated Bruce Springsteen fan, she loves attending his live tours and keeps active through Clubbercise and Zumba classes.
